I thought I liked nearly all Chinese food (big Yum Cha/Dim Sum fan except I don't like chicken's feet). Special mention should be made a local specialty known as 'Stinky Tofu'. Apparently you either love it or you hate it. Count me in the later. Pictures of it follow - top dish.

For all the tea in china I couldn't tell you how much tea I've drunk in my life but it's a lot. After a few days in the UK I happened to be on my own for the first time and around 11am I found I had the shakes - I put this down to a lack of tea which I had been pumping into my body since the day I got there. British people drink tea I think at least every 90mins! Apparently tea has medicinal qualities but not if you put milk in it which explains why British people are not the healthiest people in the world by now! (I drink my tea black now btw!)
Anyways, there's this great tea place in Taipei which we went to after lunch and we got shown how to make a traditional cup of Chinese tea. The tea leaves make several pots and while we drinking it I got to meet some of Yun's friends.

This is Ting who is an interior designer.

This is Mira who is currently running a number of high end designer fashion stores in Taiwan after retiring as a pop star. Met her for the first time in Sydney when we use to go rock climbing together. Through her I met Joe who you will remember from a previous post also use to work in Sydney and is now living in Detroit. Going to Karoke with Mira is great as long as she's singing and not me! Managed to get a photo of her without her groovy tinted glasses!
