Imagine arriving in a new country at 6pm. Imagine a place where the airport is a bit basic - seems to have only one money exchange, taxi/hotel booking booths and a cashpoint. Imagine not having booked a hotel. Imagine roads where
there seems to be no road rules. Imagine a place where bumper to bumper driving seems to be the norm. Imagine a place where there are are no pedestrian crossing/traffic lights/regard for safety (no helmets/seatbelts) and the number of people around seem to be ten times what you are use to! Imagine arriving in rush hour.
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh/Saigon!

The funny thing about all this chaos is that as long as you accept that there is chaos and expect it the whole thing seems to work quite well!
